How Long is a Day in Ark

A day in Ark is 24 hours long, just like a day on Earth. However, there are some differences in how the days are divided up. For example, on Earth, a day is divided into 24 hours, with each hour having 60 minutes.

On Ark, a day is divided into 48 hours, with each hour having 30 minutes. This means that a day on Ark is twice as long as a day on Earth!

How Long is a Day in Ark The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, right? Well, not exactly. The earth’s axial tilt causes the sun to appear to rise and fall in different parts of the sky throughout the year.

In fact, a day on Earth is actually around 24 hours long. But how does this compare to a day on other worlds? On Mars, a day lasts just over 24 hours.

This is because Mars has an axial tilt similar to Earth’s. However, Mars’ orbit is also much longer than Earth’s orbit, so a Martian year is about 687 days long! This means that each day on Mars is actually shorter than each day on Earth by about 8 minutes.

Interestingly, Venus has both a shorter day and year than Earth. A Venusian day lasts only 243 earth days! But because its year is even shorter at 225 earth days, a single day makes up almost 10% of an entire Venusian year!

So although Venusians experience more “days” per year than we do, each one of their days actually last much longer than ours. Finally, let’s take a look at Mercury. A single Mercurian day lasts 176 earth days… but its year is only 88 earth days long!

So every 4 Mercury years equals 3 Mercury days – talk about confusing!
